  17. We have been experiencing problems with using 3.1.3 Kermit at our Navy
  18. facility that we have not had with 3.1.1. We would like to use this
  19. version because of the new features and added network support. However,
  20. the numerous problems prevent us from doing so. Specificly, the problmes
  21. are thus:

  23.     1) The status line at the bottom of the screen comes back on
  24. when connecting to the host, even though mode is set to off.
  25.  
  26.     2) Terminals have been known to go dead after some use on the network.
  27.  
  28.     3) "rollback 0" does not work the same as it did in 3.1.1.
  29.  
  30.     4) File transfer does not work. We set terminalr and terminals
  31. and execute the local escape sequence but the PC does not see it. Again,
  32. it works in 3.11 version.
  33.  
  34.     5) Inverse video does not work with multi-colors. I believe problem
  35. 4 and 5 are related since they send escape sequences to the PC and are not
  36. getting to the PC.

  38. WE are looking for help from anyone on the net. We have tried to get answers
  39. to these problems from Columbia yet they have turned a deaf ear. If the 
  40. answer is to install version 3.1.4 to fix the problems, then we will do so
  41. iff it addresses the problems we have encountered.
